Resist the impulse to toss the plastic bag these come in when you first remove these hampers: the instructions - actually just illustrations - for assembly are on the package itself! That said, it was no trouble to put these together, even for me, and I do not like having to assemble things, as a rule. The wheels are already attached. All one need do is slide those included 'poles' into the sleeves, already pre-sewn, in the 4 corners, pushing down gently to get the entire length in, fold the little flaps over them - they have velcro - , and stand up your hamper. Lids are already attached on one end and there are velcro fasteners on the other to close them snugly at the top. The wheels are good ones! They roll around quietly - and at a good clip with the merest push - be the hamper empty or full. *Maybe* discourage the cats from jumping up and sitting on the tops of these, at least not when they're empty, to prevent the poles from warping over time. :)
