A bit flimsy

The Winchester shooting stick certainly does the job in helping you stabilize your rifle when there is nothing else to rest on however it is a bit flimsy. The grip is very comfortable and the "V" supports the gun nicely and fully closed it fits anywhere. Plust you can't beat the price. When extended about halfway it's pretty stable if shooting from a seated or kneeling position but when fully extended its not that sturdy. I have a 308 with composite stock so a heavier rifle with wood stock might have an issue. Considering the other "higher end" brands are up to five times as expensive it's still a good buy but these observations are just something to keep in mind. Hope that helps.
