This was the cheaper of the few options available. I have always gone with the Allen brand since I've been a kid. They put out quality outdoor enthusiast products for a very fair price. I've always got a piece of Allen brand equipment in my kit! This shooting stick is light,compact %26 simple to operate in the heat of the moment when simple muscle memory makes or breaks putting meat in the freezer! I've never been a $1,000 worth of kit kind of hunter. I hunt for a bargain before I hunt for the trophy.I like to have $$$ in my wallet %26 meat in the fridge at the end of the day,lol!
