This was a bit of a challenge to assemble, but I was able to do it mostly by myself. You'll need a drill for sure and there's one part where you'll need 2 people to help lift the top part of the bookshelf into place. Took about 4 hours for me to assemble.

the instructions are inside box but they can be easier. you will get the bottom part wrong the first time. I read the instruction before and during. it came out as the picture on line. it holds all my books and nook's and crannies, and it was a lot. it's as sturdy as it's going to be as particle board going to be if it's assembled right
