The stool was great and easy to put together, but it was to tall for me . If you are under 5'3" you need the stool without the foot rest. I returned this model and purchased the one without the foot rest and it is perfect.

We have only had this chair for a month, but it is sturdy and very comfortable. Thick padding and nice fabric should last quite a while. Easy to assemble. Far surpasses other chairs in this price range.

Good for short or tall people!
You can assemble this with or without the foot ring. Without, the seat height range is 21 to 27 inches. It is about six inches higher with the foot ring. I tried both ways, and I am using it now as a work stool in the garage without the foot ring. Works great, and the adjustable height with wheels is really handy for the worktable, for assembly, etc. (I saved the foot ring so I can use that when needed for tall jobs. This beats the typical garage stools hands down.
