DBI Sala 098-1403215 X300 X-Style Wind Energy Safety Harness - Back-Front-Hip D-Rings - Auto-Locking QC-Revolver, Gray - Extra Large & 2X

Bought this to replace my Sala construction harness. This is the same version I've been using since Sala came out with it. I'm probably on 5th or 6th one. I'm a Union Carpenter that does scaffolding mainly, all my tools are on my harness. I usually get around 3 years out of them. I like consistency, and the product always did what I needed. I'm 5'7", 180 and run a medium size harness that allows me adjustment for any clothing situation. T-shirt, sweatshirt, heavy jackets, it adjusts to them all. The new version is definitely less weight than the older version, but it has some draw backs. I bought another medium, and it seems to be larger than the old version. I'm almost out of room trying to cinch the belt closed and that's with a jacket on. I have a loaded tool belt, and like to keep the weight on my hips, and not my shoulders. I wish the sizing stayed the same as the older version. Also, the leg straps do not stay tight, they constantly loosen. The old ones never did. Working at heights all day, messing around with straps is not what I want to do. Might have to try a different size or a different harness all together. Seems to be the way these days. Produce a good product that everyone likes, and mess with it till it's not.
