Suvelle Lightweight 21" Travel Foldable Duffel Bag For Luggage Gym Sports Water Resistant Nylon Duffel

The bag is well built. It seems waterproof as it is made if nylon with some sort of rubber backing inside. The dimensions of the bag are: 21" W x 14" H x 10" D (open), 8 1/2" W x 10" H x 1" D (closed). This should suit my purpose. I intend to travel by air to Amsterdam and Poland. The bag is suposed to weigh only 5 ounces and that seems accurate. My solid luggage of the same size weighs about 5 pounds - so I pack an extra four pounds to achieve the same weight ! A huge advantage for me since the weight limit on one airline I will use is 17 pounds for my carry-on. I built a cardboard insert for the bottom and sides so the bag retains its correct box shape and dimensions. As a nylon bag without walls and a bottom it can be overtuffed and balloon out beyond the airlines limit of 10 inches wide. I am definitely not going to get into a disagreement with a foreign airline staff member about my bag being 'oversized'. Life would be a lot easier if all airlines used the same size standards for: checked luggage, carry-on and personal items. That being said, I highly recommend this bag !
