love that it arrived early. unwrapped it and put it on the bed immediately. the color is a dark purple. perfect. not the heaviest blanket, but not the lightest. perfect for year round. heat in winter, air conditioning in summer. the sherpa is a good weight. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
