I got this backpack for my daughter for college, and it's perfect. She carries her laptop, notebooks, books, and even her water bottle with no problem. It's nylon tough and holds a lot. The zippers are sturdy and don't get stuck. The shoe compartment is genius. No more mixing dirty shoes with clean clothes. The padded straps make it comfortable even when it's heavy. It seems like it must be waterproof-- today it rained heavily and nothing inside got wet. The beige color looks classy but doesn't show dirt easily, which is great since she abuses bags to their max. I got this bag because I was having to walk to the grocery store and when you use the bus you can only use those little carts so I needed something to where I could get a little more on my grocery trips to bring groceries back home and walking. So this absolutely did it. It has a huge storage capacity. I was able to fit quite a bunch in there. Of course I couldn't fit too much because then it would be too heavy for me to wear. But it seems to be sturdy construction. It does have the locking system for one compartment which I assume is typically used for something like a laptop where you would want a little extra protection?... where you can enter a code but I have not bothered to use it because what are they going to do... steal my russet potatoes? My can of ravioli? LoL. Besides I think the locking system is a false sense of security, anyways. It may stop somebody from reaching into your bag while you're actually wearing it on your back in crowds... but if somebody wants to steal from you they're just going to grab the whole bag and run.

Good quality backpack, my wife likes the material, comfort straps and all the storage pockets. She is able to put everything she needs in it when traveling for a couple days.

This is sturdy and roomy. It is great for traveling or just going back-and-forth to the office. I like how there's compartments for a lot of things. Keeps me much more organized than I was.

I had to return this because I injured my shoulder and can't use a large backpack anymore. However, it looked very well made and had a compartment or pocket for everything. The only thing I didn't care for was all the strap ends flapping around, but I wouldn't have returned it for that. Would highly recommend this backpack.

Decent construction, good overall design, light weight. Pocket fits small water bottle. Like the clamshell opening. Shoe compartment is separate but the way it is designed steals space from the main compartment. Detachable bag is handy for travel so I don't have to carry a purse and this should count as all one personal item. But I haven't taken it on a plane so I am hopeful it will fit under seat.
