Instructions

Preserving and Canning. 1. Fill glasses or jars to within ½ inch of top. 2. Clean inside top rim of container to remove any preserves from surface. 3. While contents are hot, cover with ? inch layer of melted Gulfwax. 4. When cold, add another ? inch layer of melted Gulfwax, tilting and rotating to seal completely. General Uses. 1. Seal bottles by dipping tops. 2. Rub hot iron over Gulfwax, wrapped in cloth, to keep smooth and bright. 3. Lubricate sticking drawers, windows, doors and zipper fasteners. 4. Rub Gulfwax on snow shovels to aid shoveling wet snow. 5. Lubricate snow skis and toboggans. 6. Wax surfboards. 7. Coat inside of garbage cans with melted Gulfwax to prevent rusting, sticking of contents, and enable easier cleaning. 8. Create decorative candles and artificial flowers. Grease candle molds lightly with vegetable oil and chill prior to use.

Safe Handling Instructions

CAUTION. Flammable if overheated or exposed to open flame. Always melt Gulfwax by heating in a pan over boiling water, as in a double boiler. Never melt directly in pan over fire, hot plate or in hot oven.

why old ways resurface in just the right ways

i would love to express my gratitude for gulf wax paraffin wax. i love candles but even the price of candles has gotten a little more pricey than most of can afford. In a addition to this i have allergies and lots of problems with syrong smells. Thankfully gulf wax allows you the freedom of making your own candles and giving them just the right amount of scents to smell great and not give me headaches or attack my allergies. This compared to the price of buying wax to make your candles...well for me i will take gulf wax.

this has many uses and should be in your stock. you can preserve with it like home canning. use it like a candle as is. just place a wick in the middle for a long burn in an emergency. wax your drawers for an easy glide. use small balls for filling gaps. coat clipped hard trimmed tree limbs,and waterproof paper. if you google uses, you will find tons of uses!! its a bit softer than a candle and has NO candle fillers so safe for food!
