This reed fence has big gaps in it, yet is slightly cheaper in price compared to the ones without big gaps. To compensate for this I had to scrunch the (reeds?) closer together by squeezing the metal banding with lots of pressure. So the overall length shortens in the end. As long as the reed fence doesn't need to be stretched out in full expansion, then this works out ok. My suggestion to the company is to stop making the metal wire so loose just to make it seem like it is cheaper per foot, because this is not very nice to do to your customers. Aside from this the reed fence is fine. I don't need to fully expand it for the purpose I purchased this for, so it is still ok, for me at least. So thanks, regardless.
