Wow. I will admit, I got this thinking I would never use it. It was going to be a gift for a friend, but when it arrived, I happened to want to make dinner with rice. So I busted this cutie open and I was blown away! Not only is it easy to use and easy to clean, but you can start the rice and walk away. I did check it a few times, but quickly learned that it works best when you just leave it alone to do its thing! I'm keeping this one and I have no regrets for not giving it as a gift!

I replaced an old rice cooker because of the liner and concern about safety and the chemicals in the Teflon. Now I have peace of mind using GreenLife rice coooker. Petite and sweet little rice cooker

Ordered this in soft gray and it's quite adorable. Got the smaller size and it's perfect for our family of two. Took some practice to learn how to cook brown rice in it--takes more water than white rice and helps to soak the rice in the water for 30 minutes before setting the rice maker to cook. Without the pre-soak, the brown rice comes out a bit "crunchy." The design of this unit is so cute--looks like a little round munchkin sitting on my counter--silly, aren't I? Happy with my purchase as it's easy to use without a lot of complicated settings to befuddle my brain.
