Item shopped promptly which was much appreciated. Initially, the bass response was underwhelming and I was disappointed. After some use the subs "broke in" and the bass is now quite exceptional. I am a repeat ZVOX customer, my previous sound base was damaged during a move which prompted this purchase. I am very pleased and would purchase again.

While my hearing tested as “just fine”, I still had problems hearing someone speaking when background is filled with music, explosions, etc. I had a Bose surround sound system and could not adjust the tone to make the speaking parts clear. With the ZVOX I can clean up the audio with a simple push of a button. Works great!

Accuvoice is very helpful. But in such a large cabinet it seems that a couple more mid range speakers could be included which might improve overall sound
