I was able to buy this size (12 lbs) where I lived before at a warehouse store. I saw this online at two places - Amazon and Walmart. I ordered it from Amazon and the expiration date on the package was less than 2 months out - so I gave it to a food pantry right away. I then ordered it from Walmart, a local store here - and I was pleased that the expiration date was 6 months out. This is the best rice for Spanish Rice, plain with dinner and also, for Asian fried rice.

I love this rice. It tastes great and I love that it is organic. It is the most cost effective organic brown rice I've found. I do usually throw it all in the freezer for a couple of days before I use it because there was once when my rice developed weevils inside. But I know that's possible with organic grains.
