This is a great appetizer. I add garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Taste great after mixing well and stirring for a good mix combination. I buy 12 at a time. Those do not last me a week. I like it so much that sometimes I have to go to a second Walmart to buy more when the original store ran out before I got my quota for the week. People see me in the check out line with multiple containers of this and ask me how it tastes. I tell them about the spices and they nod knowingly. Pretty darn good stuff.

Best Rhode Island Clam Chowder but with noodles!
So it's not "as good as" the Seafood Cup Noodle you'd get in Japan. But a nation that's built a seafood tradition on Tsukiji Fish Market? That's a Wonder of the World (see features on Amazon Prime or Netflix), you can't compete there. But of all the Cup Noodle or Cup Noodles (note the "s" that denotes an Americanized reformulation of noodles and soup) -- this is very very good, the best of the yummiest. Put one way, I felt that it reminded me of my favorite Rhode Island Clam Chowder at a local New England restaurant. In another way, it's the best "east meets west" combination of seafood flavors with the brine and the iodine that you just can't get in Knorr or Campbell formulations. And -- the noodles are awesome too. Do you know they are specially formulated in layers so that they reconstitute in a special way as the water temp comes down from boiling to merely hot, to warm? Look up (or ask AI) about the effects of temperatures on gelatinization. This isn't just fast food. It's high-tech food for the future, and it tastes good too!
