It stays very strong. I needed a good space in my garage to put my camping stuff. Especially after having a baby there were a lot of stuff piled up. Was very easy to assemble. I followed the instructions but even without the instructions manual I was able to figure out. It stays put and sturdy on its position. No shaking.
