** ALL POISON IVY-OAK-SUMAC SUFFERS ** READ THIS.... My husband uses THIS Calamine Lotion every year when the weather gets warmer and Poison Ivy, Poison Oak %26 Poison Sumak are growing quickly. He is highly allergic to Poison Ivy %26 Poison Oak and his job requires him to be outside and around it daily. In the evenings he will take a shower then soak in a bath of Menthol %26 Eucalyptus Epsom salt ( wal-mart brand works great) and Dawn dishwashing liquid ( wal-mart brand works good). When he's done, he lightly towel dries and when he's dry he uses this Calamine Lotion on his arms, torso, legs, feet, face, wherever needed. He only uses it in the evening before bed, because he uses Iva-Rest by Bandaid brand during the day, Ivy-Rest is a miracle worker for covering and drying up pimples too. This Calamine is much cheaper than a name brand and works just a good, my husband qualifies as an expert! oh p.s. - he uses the Blue Dishwashing Liquid Soap because it literally binds to oils and dissipates them. The oils from the poison ivy, etc. are what spread it over your body and I use the soap in the Laundry as well to remove these oils from his work clothing and our bath towels. Just a little helpful hint to anyone suffering and can't find a solution. It's taken us years and years to find a solution for him, the terrible itching and sores would last 3 months and now the only last maybe 2 weeks. Good Luck to All.
