I've been using the s9+ for about 8 months. and have really loved it so far, a recent update brought out( and removed) a few features of the main camera. I've been using mine for deep sky imaging recently and so far the results have been excellent for being a mobile device. I would like to see ISO and exposure adjustments unlocked completely, ie, ISO maxes at 800 in the PRO mode but in auto, it will go beyond 1250. For exposures, you can set it to 10 seconds max, where I would like to see it go beyond 30 seconds maybe even out to a few minutes. Either way, it is still a phenomenal device.

Coming from almost a decade of all competitor Android mobiles...I find this S9+ to be powerful and speedy, and for the most part, Samsung has features that easily take the place of some specialty actions on my last two phones. I do miss the easy action to start the flashlight, and the "wrist twist" to start the camera (still more instinct to me than double pressing the power button), but every phone takes some time to change habits such as the volume buttons moved from one side to the other. I also find the screen dimensions too narrow for the height, especially with the curved edges. Again, something to adjust to. There was a little less Samsung and Verizon bloatware loaded than I expected, and I was easily able to delete or hide, or disable through standard settings, those that I had little use for. Overall, I think that this phone is truly worth the adjustment time, and anticipate great enjoyment with it.
