Bush's Sidekicks Southwest Zest Pinto Beans, Canned Beans, 15 oz Can

I love these beans. If you're looking for good refried beans and you're not someone who makes those from scratch or has a handy Nana, pour these in a pan and mash them up with a potato masher to a smooth consistency, heat them up and you've got really good "refried beans" for burritos. The spices in these flavor the beans really well and if you're like me and not the best cook (or if you're in a hurry) it's nice to not have to bother with adding anything else. Sometimes I do add sliced jalapenos or some of the juice from the jar if I'm in the mood for spicy, but it's not necessary. I'm sure the beans are good if you eat them the regular way, but if you're looking for refried beans that taste vastly better than the canned brand, which can be the consistency of peanut butter if you don't thin them with milk and then must be further spiced, try these instead. They're also a good price.

These flavorful beans add the kick needed to your meals! Alone they are slightly spicy and an even flavor throughout. Even our 5 year old loves them. We kick it up a notch and make the flavor pop by adding a couple pickled jalapeños. It's subtle and elevates the spices used in the beans. Perfect blend of spice and heat!
