THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH...

THIS PRODUCT DID NOT SIT ON ANY SHELF, NOR WAS IT STORED IN A WAREHOUSE UNTIL A COUPLE WEEKS BEFORE EXPIRATION. SINCE MANY OF USE HAVE BECOME ADDICTED TO SHOPPING ONLINE WITH PRIME/AMAZON, WE HAVE TOTALLY IGNORED A COMPANY CALLED WALMART!!! ALTHOUGH WALMART.COM IS A RELATIVE "NEWCOMER" TO THE ONLINE SHOPPING WORLD, I WAS HESITANT TO ORDER THE CHANA DAL. HOWEVER, I HAVE SOAKED A HALF CUP OF THE DAL AND AM DELIGHTED TO REPORT THEY ARE THE FRESHEST DAL I HAVE YET TO COME ACROSS. PRIME/AMAZON SENT ME A FOUR-POUND JAR OF URAD DAL WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF MY 2022! I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. FORGET AMAZON/PRIME AND COME HOME TO WALMART.COM
