I'm not able to make my own protein shakes or bars anymore, so I have to rely on the bot kind to get the amount of protein that my doctor says that I need to everyday. These aren't the best I've ever used, but they're certainly not the worst. And the price is generally better than other brands. I'll keep buying them as long as I can afford them.

Low glycemic

This drink is low glycemic. It has protein and other nutrients. It is a good drink to grab on the go. People have been brainwashed to believe sugar is ok but not fat. This is crazy. Sugar does nothing for you except give you a burst of temporary energy and is not good for your pancreas, which regulates blood sugar. While natural occurring fat helps your body to absorb vitamin A, K and E. Just don't overdo it. Everything in moderation. I know how hard it is to eliminate sugar from your diet because manufacturers put in what I call hidden sugar. I have tried and it does not leave me a lot of choices. I look for non sugar or as low as I can get sugar ingredients. And pray to God!

Ooooh THE TASTE!!!

The TASTE!!! Let me say it again....THE TASTE! I drink one a breakfast and eat a light lunch and finish with dinner BEFORE 7pm. Works for me. The protein shake holds me for 4 hours. These shakes won't work by themselves. NO DIETING PLEASE! Just reduce your junk food intake, WALK and try not to eat after 7pm.
