Cooper and Tater tot are addicted to Churus. They hear the jar open and they come a running. Bit pricey but they love them so who am I to say no.

I originally started buying these treats for my cats through chewy because I had gift cards but as soon as I started giving them to the cats, they were hooked. I'm glad Walmart is carrying them. Churus turned out to be a very helpful for several of the older ones who were not eating well enough because of missing teeth. I also have two on medication who are dropping weight because, being old and stiff and sleepy, sometimes they don't remember to get up and eat and drink. Although Churu is not an adequately balanced substitute for cat food, it keeps them interested in eating, it hydrates them, and it eases my conscience when they sometimes would go a whole day without eating anything otherwise, and then the next day they might eat a whole can at once. They have dementia. I also use Churus as an apology after I have to give someone medicine and they have a bad taste in their mouth. it distracts them. I have also tried hiding medicine, crished or mixed in it covered up in Churu, but it dies nit dtick to the pilks, and guess it does not have a strong enough smell to cover the medicine. There are only a couple of flavors they don't like but in comparison they snarf down as much as they can get. We have tried almost every possible combination. The only time we were less satisfied was a batch that was specifically for skin and coat health. Those apparently did not taste good and they definitely gave them diarrhea. I noticed that they now make them for seniors also but we are not going to try those because senior food is always so bland. For some strange reason, none of my cats wants to eat a Churu out of the tube the way they show in the commercials that it is good for bonding. Mine want me to squeeze the puree Churu onto a saucer so they can lick it. I think they figure we are bonded enough. I have had them all since they were 15 years old so I guess we are. When you squeeze itvout all st once, it is kind of stingy-looking for the money. We buy the biggest boxes and they are still 5O¢ each which adds up with 8 cats. And if one gets one, everybody has to have one. I would prefer if there was more in the tube rather than if the price would be lower. One last thing that they do well. when I first started buying these, I would buy the plastic round jars with the wide mouths and the plastic lids with little handles on them. that was the only way they were offered. Now you can buy them by the boxes which is a lot better for the giant garbage footprint on the planet. If you save the wide mouth round jars, you can fit a lot of the ones from the boxes in those jars when you receive the boxes. for example, you can fit 72 tubes from a box in one of the jars that originally had 50 tubes. I hate you throw away a nice jar like that which can be used so many ways. I'm glad they give you the opportunity to buy it in a cardboard box.
