I bake all our bread, and these keep from freezer burn. When cooled, I slice the bread and put them loosely in a plastic bread bag, then freeze for 1 hour. Then I take it out and make sure the slices are separated before inserting them (still in the plastic bag) into these bags. There is no need for freezer bags...these do the job. then we can just take out as many slices as we need, and they toast right away or are thawed in about 15 minutes.
