great basic primer

In review of the Revlon photo ready primer this primer comes in a good sized container that, in my opinion, will last a good while. I like the pump of this application. It is a very white creamy texture that leaves a smooth finish on the skin. I have used Elf mineral primer in the past which is more of a gel type consistency and this is more of a creamer consistency. I think it does well on keeping your makeup on. I do not know however what the “photo ready” quality of this primer is. To me it is a good basic primer that helps with your makeup lasting. I have oily skin and needs a good primer that will help my makeup last. It blends into the skin easily. Probably need a few pumps to apply to entire face. I wish it had a little bit more information if it was good for mineral or regular foundations. All around a good basic to have in your makeup bag.

Primed and ready for my makeup.

I was given Revlon PHOTOREADY brightening primer in the 0.91FL Oz/ 27 ML for my honest rating and review. Now that that’s said, the package came undamaged. The packaging was easy to open. It’s a glass bottle with an easy to open plastic lid. There is a touch pump on the top that disperses the product easy when pressed down. I was overall pleased with the appearance of the product and packaging. As far as the product itself I tried with and without makeup to see how I liked the primer. When applying the primer alone I was pleased with the way the product felt on my skin. It felt moist but not greasy like other primers. It made my face feel soft and moisturized. The product advertises to soften the face and blur imperfections and it does just that. I wouldn’t recommend using the primer without foundation because it gave me a clean bright matte pale surface that looked unfinished. I then tried with foundation and loved it. It helped my makeup stay on all day and gave me a brighter appearance. I rate this product a 5 out of 5. It does exactly what it's supposed to do; it primes and brightens your face before applying your makeup.
