This is my second one. The first still looks like I just took it out of the package. Has been washed and dried many times and still looks brand new. This is not plushy. It's a mattress protector and does the job. It fits very nice, not lots of extra material, but deep pockets so it doesn't come off the mattress. Can not say enough good things about this product.
