Sugar is a detriment to this non-all-bran cereal

I like this product, but I lower from 5 to 4 stars for having sugar in it. Why do they put sugar in cereal? Anybody can put in sugar if they want sugar, but how do you get it out? I lower from 4 stars to 3 stars for calling it all-bran when it is not all bran: "Wheat bran, sugar, psyllium seed husk, contains 2% or less of salt, baking soda" The psyllium is fine, but it is not bran.
