Our GoodCook Pro Safe-Cut Can Opener has a patented design that safely separates the lid from the can with no sharp edges, then lifts the lid from the can. Then the lid is released automatically, for disposal or use. Because the lid is removed rather than cut, it can be placed back on the can for temporary storage. This has a hardened steel cutting blade the never comes in contact with food, for less risk of contamination. The stainless steel guide wire is heavy gauge for plenty of use and the solid seamless handle design is easy to clean.

goodcook safe cut can opener
a new safe cut can opener. with instructions wipe gears with damp cloth, do not immerse in water. had 2 different can openers that got jammed from clogged cutting wheels. had to use oil and picks to remove the debris then remove any non food safe oil after the cutting wheel is able to turn. if your old one isn't working, it might just have a clogged cutting wheel that might work after cleaning and oiling
