Brilliant

I absolutely love,love,my instant pot. Could not live without. I had my old instant pot duo for many years and it has served me well. Was now getting a little worn,so I decided to treat myself to an upgrade. The new instant pot Xl is just as good. I follow a mainly 'plant based' diet,so the instant pot is fantastic for home made soups,stews,curries and for cooking chickpeas,lentils etc. It makes a lovely home made rice pudding. It also steams veg to perfection and saves so much time. The fact that it also has a steel pot rather than non-stick will always make 'instant pot' my first choice.

Performs as advertised

A relative had one and loved it, so we ordered this model specifically because of it's larger size and pressure cooker ability. It does what it says it does, sous vide temps seem accurate. We just use brand-name freezer bags for sous vide and that works for us. (We did have to buy little weights to hold the bag in the water.)
