Good Black Lentils - But Tiny Bag
Black Lentils!!! These are a good quaility. Don't know why they are so hard to find being the one lentil with the highest protein. Anyhow, these taste great and cook up great. I use them mixed with 2 other lentils to make lentil vegetable soup. I won't buy them often because of the price. 1 lb doesn't make many batches of soup.

A Great Experience With a New ‘Bean'!
Lentils, in general, are an excellent source of nutrients. Black lentils are noted for the different vitamins and minerals that optimize brain health. This is my first time cooking black lentils. We routinely eat ‘regular' lentils. I cooked them as instructed , cooled them, and added them to a cold salad of rotini pasta with chopped fresh vegetables and an oil/cider vinegar/ mustard dressing. It was wonderful! These lentils keep their shape when boiled, have a nice chewy bean-ish taste, and really ‘pretty up' a pale noodle salad. I'll be back for more!
