Tired of using your shop vacuum and getting poor results? Oneida Air's Dust Deputy will transform your shop vacuum and the way you work! Trap dust in the barrel and NOT in your shop vacuum. Filters over 99% of sanding dust; less than 1% goes into the vacuum. Extends the life of your shop vacuum and your filters. Extremely efficient, cyclonic pre-separator for wet/dry vacuums. Cyclone is constructed of a translucent anti-static resin and features tapered ports to connect to most shop vacuum hoses. Note: The Dust Deputy is not for use with highly explosive dust, corrosive, or hot/smoldering materials.

It works!
We connected the Dust Deputy to a Dewalt 7 inch grinder with a dust shroud which I bought additionally. We pulled this black endpiece of the shroud and it connected perfectly to the Dust Deputy. No connector is needed! The Dust Deputy was then hooked up to a Rigid shop vac. We used ducttape to make sure the hoses stay on and so far they have. We are grinding concrete floors and it is simply incredible how well this setup works. Dust Deputy appears kind of flimsy, but appearances can be deceiving. Virtually all the dust ends up in the bucket. I put a high efficency dust bag in the 12 gallon shop vac and it is virtually empty. I wish I would have known about this Dust Deputy a long time ago, it would have saved me a lot of headaches and money.
