Nutricost Casein Protein Powder 2lb - Micellar Casein (Unflavored)

I mix a scoop in with milk. It makes a good breakfast and snack, that's high in protein and relatively low in calories. I'm also old and started trying to get myself in better shape and I need the protein. Taste, semi sweet tasting vanilla. Not bad at all. Taste significantly better with milk than it does in water. Texture is a bit grainy. Not bad. But if you are used to how smooth whey protein is, then this will seem grainy. That said, if you mix it really good, it gets smoother. I use one of those battery powered frothers and it works pretty good. My goal is to add more protein into my diet without having to eat more food. 8 ounces of milk and and one scoop of powder comes out to about 33 grams of protein at 230 calories. I think one scoop needs at least 6 ounces of liquid, up to 10 ounces with 8 being the sweet spot. My only complaint is the price has risen by about 20% in the last 6 months. At the current price it's about $1 per serving. Not terrible, but not economical.
