I'm impressed with the difference in these meat sticks compared to others you find at gas stations and grocery stores. This meat is sourced from the U.S. and Canada, raised without antibiotics, no added hormones, vegetarian fed and it's made in Vermont. First 3 ingredients are Beef, Pork, and Sea Salt. Each stick is about 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/4" long. Each contains 6g of Protein and has 80 calories. These meat sticks are moist, tender and not too peppery. The Sea Salt can be a little salty tasting at times but, overall, these are really good. I'm used to eating meat sticks that are harder in texture and more flavorful because of the artificial ingredients but I'd much rather eat these because they don't contain all of the unhealthy preservatives. This is also certified Gluten-Free. The price for a box of 24 seems high initially until you consider that a less healthy, smaller stick costs around $2.00 each. This is so much better for you and less money so I recommend these to anyone wanting a more healthy snack on the go!

I received these VT Smoked and Cured Meat sticks free for my honest opinion and I will give you my sincere opinion of these VT meat sticks. I received the Beef and Pork Cracked Pepper flavored meat sticks and to say the least they are awesome. They are larger than expected , a stick is a little over 6" long. I wasn't sure about the Cracked Pepper at first but it is really good, not too peppery so that it burns your mouth but enough that you know there is Pepper in them. The best part is that they are really meaty and juicy , not tough so chewy that your jaw hurts by the time you finish eating one ! Very tasty , meaty , juicy, and a great snack for anytime. All this and they are also Gluten free and Antibiotic free which makes them all the better for you. I have eaten other so called meat sticks in my life and I can honestly state that these VT Smoke and Cure are by far the best tasting I have ever eaten and my husband would also agree , he has taken one to work for his lunch break and loves them too. These would be great to carry on road trips , camping , keep in vehicle in case of emergency, they are packaged well #vacuum sealed# and will last a long time. Bottom line : Love them because they taste meaty and are juicy not tough.
