I use these gloves to protect my hands from cold and wet while doing barn chores in winter in NY. They are good at keeping my hands dry even when deicing buckets. They're well made and holding up nicely. On days where the temp was in the teens I did use a liner and hand warmer pack. My hands did not feel cold even after being outside for 4 hours.
