I bought this sandwich griller because it was recommended by the TV Show, 'Americas Test Kitchen'. It is a great little unit. Hint: you can set an heavy iron skillet or a brick (covered with aluminum foil) on top of the cover when making a panini (to give some extra weight to smoosh the sandwich a bit better). I have used it a dozen times and 100% happy with it and would buy it again
