This is a really smart way to store and dispense honey. Because the spout is at the bottom, you don't have to wait for the honey to slowly make its way to the spout like you do with a regular honey bottle. Also, if your honey crystallizes, you can put some hot water in the base of this dispenser, and it will decrystallize it. just make sure you wipe off the water at the spout before you start dispensing the honey. I've also used to the hot water trick just to make the honey flow a little faster. I really like this device, and I think it works better than most for dispensing honey. It also looks nice, so I don't mind having it out on my counter. The top part of it that holds the honey is made of glass, in the base is made of clear plastic with a rubberized ring around the bottom so it doesn't slip around. the handle and stopper pieces are made of plastic, which is what you want for honey, because honey shouldn't have metal sitting in it long term.
