This clotting powder is an absolute must-have for any first-aid kit. I recently had a pretty deep cut while working in the kitchen, and it was bleeding quite a bit. I had a vein bleed while taking a shower and ended up having to go to ER in order to get the bleeding stopped. I knew that they had a bandage to stop bleeds in the Military so I searched for something similar and found these WoundSeal tubes. Although I would prefer a bandage type wound seal these tubes of powder did stop a bleed I had. They are a little messy when used for the first time as I spilled a lot not knowing what to expect. Now that I have used one I have no problems containing the powder better. They work great, stop the bleed and I don't have to go to the ER. WoundSeal is a necessary item to have in your home for the unexpected bleed.
