Timer does not work

This is our second coffee pot , we bought the second one because we really liked how the first one work , especially being able to set the timer to wake up with brewed coffee. Unfortunately this coffee pot that we received 3 days ago fails in comparison as the timer does not work. This is on of the main reasons we bought this one. Highly dissatisfied
