crispy and flavorful, quick to make

This was my first time purchasing this biscuit mix, and I accidentally clicked 2 in grocery pickup iinstead of one box. Now I'm glad I did. The biscuits were quick to make once I bought some cheddar cheese for the half cup needed. Using a standard size cookie sheet, I placed 12 spoonfuls instead of the 10 stated on the box. They baked at the 14 minutes specified and the bottoms were golden, with lightly browned tops and fully cooked centers. It's best to transferthem onto a rack right away because they were starting to stick in spite of the spray oil. The sauce was easy to make, and was a very small amount, but only a teaspoon on each biscuit was enough. The only drawback was the sauce seemed salty and very strong tasting, so could have used unsalted butter instead of what I used. It thickens as it cools, so would need to be warmed up to use later.

I bought these as an afterthought to go with dinner I was making at my son's family's house. It had been a rough week for everyone and they needed a little TLC. My grandson (8) wasn't sure how to feel about them but I told him he would love them (He's a bread eater). So he finally takes a bite, little did I know what I got myself into. I can no longer visit without biscuits he literally asks me every time if I brought them. It's a standing joke. When an 8 year old loves something that much you know it's good. I would highly recommend this product. Very tasty with a solid biscuit texture and buttery garlic sauce.

Spend the Money %26 get THIS!

I am a tightwad. I’m cheap. I buy mostly generics. But, this one is worth paying for the brand name. The generics cannot hold a candle to the real Cheddar Bay Biscuits! These are the OG! We make them just as biscuits. We use them in place of the baking mix in sausage balls. We use them as the topper on chicken cobbler. They’re versatile %26 ridiculously yummy.
