This is as close to a commercial leg press that you would find in a regular gym for an outrageously cost efficient price. I do competitive bodybuilding and this leg press works perfectly for my high intensity leg workouts. I can't believe it is actually as cheap as it is and also was free delivery I would have expected to pay almost three times this much.

Handle bent during the delivery. I used car jack to put it back into its original shape because it's too heavy to return it. Also, the safety handle unbalanced when weights rest on see. There's a video of a guy show how to fix it with washers to balance it out. Once, it's all good, the machine is superbly nice to use.

Balance Form Leg press

Well first of all I don't do reviews. But in the case of the mystery Walmart leg press I must. I had been in the market for a leg press for a couple of months to finish my home gym set up. I looked and looked on the internet and to my disappointment, were the outrageous prices. Ranging from $1700 to as much as $4000. I was extremely skeptical of this machine on Walmart's website. So, I found this leg press and checked it out. I read the reviews and they were not good. I saw that the website had it weighing in at 250-some-odd pounds. The first thing I thought of was ... its super cheaply made. I moved on. As I searched the internet, I found three companies online that were selling strangely the same exact type of leg press, slight variations in their design but same exact dimensions with linear bearing set up for $2900 to as much as $4000. I thought, could it be? those stated that their leg press was a whopping 500 pounds. Which told me heavy duty steel construction material. Curious with this leg press, I went back to the Walmart website. This time, it was reduced to a clearance price of $550 with free shipping. I said to myself, screw it and bought it. When it was delivered, it came in a giant wooden crate, and it was definitely not 250 pounds. We got it off the truck and the invoice stated that it weighed just over 600 pounds. When I unpacked this monster, I was so happy with the quality of its build that I was like giving myself hi fives. I have to mention that one of the bearings were no good. I measured and located new linear bearings from a company in Southern California and bought four for $29 each. Who cares, for $550 bucks, I'm good. This baby is a commercial machine. 8 Gauge material and 1/4-inch plate steel. I guess this was a return, it did not have a mark on it when I got it. Most of the bad reviews were from the terrible assembly manual. You have to have a mechanical inclination coupled with a good dose of common-sense. Because if not, you will fail. There was an assembly video I was able to watch from the third company I had visited for this press, and it was so straight forward that I don't know how anyone could screw this up. You need some Braun as well. The factors I mentioned are paramount in order to achieve assembly success. I fortunately have all the attributes mentioned. If you look hard enough the diamond in the rough will appear. in this case it is a very shiny diamond. Thanks, Walmart, for coming through and saving me literally thousands of dollars.
