This blanket is beautiful in addition to providing just the right amount of warmth for one person (I'm 5'9"). The control is easy to use, and the amount of heat provided by each setting is perfect. It also shuts itself off depending on the time you set. It only took the first time using it to know exactly which setting suited my needs. Being on blood thinners causes me to be cold most of the time, even in warmer weather, which is the exact opposite of my wife. Therefore, this blanket is just the right size for me to stay comfortable on my side of our king-size bed, and my wife can stay cool on her side knowing she's away from my blanket. Our headboard includes an electric plug-in, so the blanket plugs right in alongside our phone chargers and stays neatly out of the way. We had a hard time deciding whether to purchase the grey or wine color and are really glad we chose the wine because it turned out to be true to the picture on the website and it's exactly what we wanted. You can't go wrong with this blanket.

Bigger than a standard lap blanket so its more cuddly on the couch, and the heating is consistent. the controler is easy to use. super soft, though ive only had it a month so i dont know how it holds up over time.
