Stanley 10 Gallon 6HP Portable Poly Wet/Dry Vacuum SL18701P-10A

My husband and I both agree that this Stanley 10-gallon wet/dry vacuum is the best we have ever seen! First of all, the size alone will grab your attention and make you take notice. The unit is solidly-built and sturdy, keeping with the usual quality of Stanley products. We were so impressed with the suction power of this vacuum. It cleaned the carpet in our car so completely and thoroughly, we couldn't believe it. The 6.0 HP is amazing and it comes with a disposable filter bag, like a regular house vac, to keep the inside of the unit clean and free of dust and trash. Neither of us has ever seen a shop vac with a bag—I love that feature in this product! The unit comes with all the necessary attachments-- hose, extension wand, utility nozzle, crevice nozzle, cartridge filter, foam filter, and garden hose adapter, to tackle any cleaning job imaginable. Another awesome feature is that on the opposite of the canister, you can plug in the hose and use it as a blower! Again, something we have never seen before. What a great way to dry the inside of the unit after using it to clean-up a spill or flooding incident. I can't deny that I am excited about this product and would highly recommend it to EVERY household!

I am a divorced 63-year-old grandmother who lives alone and struggles to maintain my home and property. Lately I had been considering getting a shop vacuum as I have had a couple of water issues with my washing machine, to say nothing about spider webs and dirt in the garage. The Stanley shop vacuum was what I needed. The assembly was minimal requiring only attaching the four caster wheels. The unit was packaged very securely and there was no damage when it arrived. The attachments that came with the unit is what you would expect, including a garden hose adapter that was not listed in the description. Since having to use a shop vacuum is a new experience for me, I was not sure how the garden hose adapter would be used. After some research I discovered that instead of having to try and dump a full tank of water, all you need to do is attach the adapter to the tank, attach a garden hose and let the tank drain through the hose. This feature is especially important to me as I am not capable of handling a heavy tank of water. My first use of the vacuum was on the carpet in my car. The suction is extremely powerful, like what you would see at the car wash, but without the cost of constantly putting quarters in the machine. The extension wands came in extremely handy as I could reach all the way into the back of my SUV and clean where I couldn't before, and the crevice tool was able to reach into very tight places. I also had to test it out on the spider webs in the garage and the vacuum made quick work of those along with blowing leaves out of the garage. I am extremely happy with this Stanley shop vacuum, seems to be well built, has a lot of power, and should last a very long time. This is exactly what this grandmother needed!
