I had decided to give a chance to these green beans a tryout. I had an aunt who was Italian, and she prepared her green beans the same as these. I loved them as a child and still love them as adult !! Italian green beans are good to use in a crock pot with meat, roast, or pork chops. I'll use cream of mushroom soup and potatoes mixed together, then pour it over the meat that's been browned. These green beans top it off. They'll mix with other seasonings, too. If you're going to try these, be prepared to get hooked on wonderful tasting green beans.

I love this product because it tastes exactly how it tastes when I cooked them myself at home! I could not tell the difference between Margaret Holmes canned Italian Green Beans and the ones I cooked from scratch. Look, it saves me time and the quality is no different than the ones I prepared from my garden, I found the taste to be extraordinary and the seasoning to be like my home made ones, but without all the time spent over the stove!
