Very good but not what I was expecting.

When I bought the Estwing 16" Campers axe I was really expecting it to be a long handled hatchet on the order of the Estwing Sportsman's hatchet. It has the same head as the 26" Estwing axe. It is heavier and a shorter version of the 26" axe. I'm still keeping it! It was sharp when I got it but I sharpened so more. I have not tried it on dead dry wood but it works well on green wood. The hatchet for my belt and this one for the pack or behind the seat of the truck.
