it was slightly smaller than I expected but not disappointing at all. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. It's not big but it delivers on the pizza promise. works moderately well as a BBQ too. I used Lump charcoal but I suspect that wood would have been even better. The instructions for assembly were minimal but clear. Didn't see a recipe book but not truly needed either. Nice little unit and the price was not bad at all.
