Mainstays 1 Gallon Oval Pitcher, Freezer- and Dishwasher-Safe, Durable Food-Safe Plastic, BPA-Free, Teal Lid

I've gone through any number of plastic pitchers over the years, but decided to get a new one after the last one melted because it was left on the counter next to the stove. (Don't ask.) I saw this one for less than $5 and ordered it. It's oval, so will save much-needed space in the fridge, but holds a whole gallon. What's impressed me even more than the thick pitcher is the large lid! It's a pretty teal and snaps on VERY easily and securely, much better than others I've had. There's a small tab over the handle, making it super-easy to lift off. There's a hole with a separate smaller lid at the end of the large lid, and it's a marvel. It extends out over the big lid so it's very easy to open and close, no more looking for that tiny tab on most lids. Even better, under that smaller lid, the plastic extends to form a small spout--NO DRIPS! All in all, this is PERFECT for my needs. I'm probably going to order another to have on hand just in case!
