Unlike our previous 6-qt pot, this one is narrower and has taller sides, so it fits better on our range. The bottom is thick and spreads the heat very evenly. We used it to slow-cook a meat stew for 18 hours, delicious!

Great pot!

I love this pot! It's larger than the one I was using for a stock pot before, yet not too big and heavy to be able to carry from sink to stove (and back). I can boil pasta in it with more water and less boil-over, and the handles stay cool enough to handle safely when carrying it to the sink to drain.

LOVE!!

I use this pot often. It is heavy duty and durable.The pot is attractive as well. I use it to make soupns and stove top roasts. I also found it useful to mix apple pie filling since no bowl or pan is ever big enough. Ive mixed potato and pasta salads in it too. I have not used it in the oven yet.
