This pan is a good value. Seems made well nonstick surface using most utensils holds up very good against scratches or chips. Pan very easy to clean after use. Good handle to pan balance. Tempered glass lid with vent port seems made well easy to clean with non abrasive scrub sponges after use. The lid knob handle is metal and can be a bit hot to the touch. You can simply replace the metal knob handle with a simple heat resistant plastic knob.

I love my other copper non stick pans, so was looking for the same in a small skillet. One big factor was the length and weight of the handle in a small 8" skillet. The handle in my old one was heavy enough that the skillet wouldn't sit down flat on the burner unless it was half full. Since I really only use it for eggs, it was always sitting a bit wonky. No problem with this one even thought the handle is 7" long rather than 6-1/2" as shown in the image. It's a heavy pan for aluminum so it's nice and thick and the quality you would expect from German engineering. As far as I ca tell the handle knob is metal. It's a nice quality lid, too. So rare to be able to get a lid at a reasonable combined price. That was a huge factor in my decision. Like buying pants with little or shallow pockets. I hate feeling taken advantage of. All skillets need lids!!!
