Maxi-Cosi Kani 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, Caspian Caviar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This MaxiCosi is truly the raddest, most fashionable carseat I've ever come across. Its subtle leather-like trim is my favorite part about it—this carseat is definitely more for the style-conscious parent rather than the kid! The slim design is so helpful and gives my 3year old more than enough space to be comfortable. I am thrilled we'll be able to continue using it until the booster phase. If I could go back to when I first had my baby- I'd definitely go for this 4in 1 design- it makes the best sense financially and environmentally which are two pretty big factors for our family. It was super easy to install as most are. I was excited for the new magnetic clip style, but found it to be slightly tricky to undo! I think I need more time getting used to it. Buckling him in though is a breeze! I'm so grateful to have had the chance to receive this carseat on behalf of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would absolutely recommend the Kani!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the car seat, the first thing I noticed was how comfortable and cushy the overall car seat was. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. To be honest, I was a little jealous my chair isn't as plush and luxurious! I love that the car is a convertible car seat and plan on using this from rear facing — currently my 8 month old is in it until she is forward facing. Before installing in the car I did attempt to see if my 5 year old son could use it but he maxed out the height. When I was trying to figure out how to install I noticed you can also extend the seat/leg area as well for further prolong use and comfort. I was bummed my car did not have the metal latches. My favorite feature was that the latches had its own designated latch ring holder so it does not clank and fly around the car and love that it makes the car organized, especially since we have so many other kid-related things in the car. I realized after taking the photos the car seat also comes with removable cup holders which we have installed. My 5 year old ended up playing with them when I opened the box hence not pictured! The installation was easy using the seat belt path when rear facing, latches if your car has them, and the additional tether once the kids are forward facing. The chest clip took a while to get use as it's a magnetic button as opposed to a slider function. After 2-3 times you remember to push then pull as opposed to push and slide. I would recommend this car seat as a primary or even when traveling since the install process is so easy and quick!
