At Badger Run Wildlife Rehab, we use this product on virtually every animal and every wound. We have found it to have superior effectiveness to other products, with the added advantage of it not "matting together" bird feathers as some other gel or cream products do, which would result in loss of insulation and potential ingestion while preening. With 3 outside cats and living in the country this medicine is a necessity. It doesn't sting and won't hurt them if they lick it. It does work and even my husband has used it on himself when he happens to get a boo-boo from working outside. A great product to have on hand.
