My wife is happy with the product. Things I like: 1) Large water reservoir. I refill this from a filter pitcher without removing the reservoir. 2) Nice black and chrome appearance on the counter top 3) Easy K-cup access 4) Accommodates re-usable and recycled K-cups 5) Large selection of coffee cup sizes 6) Intuitive menu interface 7) The unit conveniently provides just hot water if you want to make a drink without having to use a K-cup Things I don't like 1) It would be nice to have a battery backup (like alarm clocks have) so that unit does not have to be re-programmed after a power outage. 2) This isn't an issue for me, but the unit will not accept the very tall cups like one would use to prepare iced coffee.

You must own the Platinum system. It is so worth the extra small amount money for the capacity of water it holds and how much better it performs. If you are a large cup coffee drinker this is a must with 5 different cup sizes. You will not be disappointed. It even includes a water filter with the machine and this cost is additional on others. The filters last for a couple of months so this is wonderful in itself. It is a great improvement from previous models.
